Ways to give to the Basilica
Quick Give
Use this for one-time payments (including wedding fees) and electonic giving.
Online Giving
On-line e-giving for bank drafts and credit card charges from a secure web site that has been set up for Sacred Heart for this purpose. Developed by the same organization that publishes Our Sunday Visitor, My Own Giving allows you to set up an account and make recurring contributions, as well as contributions to designated second collections. You can change recurring contributions at anytime by going to the secure web site.
Your Own Bank
Perhaps the easiest way to regularly Give Online is to utilize your own bank’s online Bill Pay feature. (Most banks do not charge for this service and the parish pays no fees.) Please use your Sacred Heart envelope number as the account number when you set up an on-line electronic transfer or check to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Cash or Check
Provide these gifts in the offertory basket at weekend Mass, the Donation Box throughout the week, bring them to the parish office, or mail them to the Basilica. Please make checks payable to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Archbishop's Annual Appeal
Support the ministries of the Archdiocese across north and central Georgia with a gift to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal (select “AAA-Sacred Heart of Jesus-Atlanta).
Stock
Gifts of stock can be made online with your broker’s assistance. Request that your stock broker transfer the stated number of shares electronically to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus account at Raymond James.

IRAs
If you are 70 1/2 or older, you may benefit by giving directly from your IRA. Retired Management Account (RMA) Distributions are the minimum amounts you must withdraw from your retirement accounts each year. Please consult your tax advisor to see if this will work for you. Donations of appreciated stock or securities are ways of giving that may have tax benefits for you in the deferral of capital gains. We also advise discussing with your investment advisors on how to best utilize this option of support.
